I discovered my affinity for computers and technology at a young age. When I was a kid, I spent many hours banging away on a Commodore 64 computer. I really enjoyed programming it and learning all the different things I could do with it. While in high school, I ran a local BBS (that was what we called a Bulletin Board System) that people could dial into, download programs with, and chat on... long before the Internet. I took a couple years off from technology to serve in the United States Marine Corps. In 1992, I started to delve into the the world of Macintosh. I owned a couple of different Macintosh computers… the Performa 578, the Performa 5200CD, IIsi, then the original iMac. In 2001, a friend of mine convinced me that I had some design talent and that I should take some classes to further my abilities. That is exactly what I did, and it enabled me to start Brian Sakowicz Design. I began by specializing in web design and delved a little into graphic design, as well. In 2003, I also became an Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist, bringing my other passion into my business. I love helping people and look forward to helping you.
